Avi Kestenbaum is the Global Operations Director at the Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet (GEAPP), where he is responsible for building GEAPP’s global operations. He has 10+ years’ experience in organizational design and transformation, managing teams ranging from 3 to 75 people in day-to-day operations as well as through significant business transition.

Before joining the Alliance, Avi held management positions at PwC in their Deals (Restructuring) practice. There, he led teams in working with clients to find optimal solutions for their financial and operational challenges, including reducing balance sheet stress, generating cash/reducing cost, increasing profitability, finding the best source of capital to support business objectives and assessing ESG targets and solutions. Earlier in his career, after progressing through the Unilever graduate programme, he worked in a number of operations and finance-related roles, particularly in relation to Unilever’s post-acquisition reorganization and consolidation work. Most notably, he headed up Operations and Planning for a €100m European subsidiary.

Avi holds a BA (Hons) History degree from the University of Birmingham. He has lived and worked in the UK, the Netherlands and the Middle East.
