Felicity Tan

Director, Global Partnerships

Felicity Tan is a Director for Global Partnerships for the Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet, where she leads multi-region engagement. She brings to the alliance more than a decade of experience in collaborations and advocacy in the US, Europe and Asia, most recently having launched a coalition incubator in her home country the Philippines. Previously, she was Asia Director for the Rockefeller Foundation in Bangkok where she led partnership-driven programming in energy, health, data science and innovative finance. Prior to philanthropy, she led multi-market stakeholder engagement and communications campaigns for a range of corporate and non-profit clients at APCO Worldwide while based in Shanghai and New York. She started her career as a journalist, and served as a communications officer at the UN and in politics.

Felicity is a systems-change weaver passionate about building new models and paradigms for collective action. A champion for inclusive innovation and cross-sector integration, she also advises impact funds and ventures that empower communities in the global south. An avid traveler, she has visited 60+ countries and in her spare time can be found near or in the ocean scuba diving or joining beach clean-ups. Felicity holds a bachelors in Journalism from Boston University a masters in Politics & Communication from the London School of Economics, and an Executive MBA from the University of Oxford‚ Said Business School, where she is a scholar.
