Senior Associate, Monitoring, Learning and Evaluation
Marina is a Senior Associate of Strategy, Insights and Knowledge on the Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) team at the Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet (GEAPP) based in New York. In this role, Marina collaborates across the organization to integrate an impact-focused approach into program strategies and institutional processes. She oversees the deployment of the MEL activities across the organization, including managing impact monitoring data collection, evaluation activities, and continuous learning cycles.
Prior to her tenure at GEAPP, she spent five years with The Rockefeller Foundation as a Program Coordinator of the Power and Climate team. In this multifaceted role, she oversaw grant management, program budgeting, team operations, and MEL activities. Marina also played a significant role in co-developing the team’s gender mainstreaming strategy and managed a portfolio of grants dedicated to empowering women through clean energy initiatives.
Marina began her career in the intersection of law and the arts. She holds a Juris Doctor degree from Brooklyn Law School with a focus on Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) principles and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management and Art History from the University of Miami.
