The Climate Leaders Network (CLN), powered by GEAPP, IFC, USAID and DFAT, aims to elevate women's leadership and their impact towards Vietnam's transition to a sustainable and green economy

The Climate Leaders Network (CLN) jointly launched by the International Finance Corporation (IFC), the Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet (GEAPP), the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT), and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) acts as a platform to empower women leaders across Vietnam’s key economic sectors to actively participate in climate initiatives. Targeting senior-level executives, CLN cultivates a community that is not only influential but also capable of driving significant environmental changes within their respective domains.

Key Focus Areas

Leadership and Visibility: Increasing the presence and impact of women leaders in climate action discourse and decision-making
Awareness and Education: Highlighting the climate challenges specific to Vietnam and educating on the intersectionality of gender and climate change
Capacity Building and Support: Fostering the growth and expertise of current and future women leaders in climate action through mentorship, education, and resource sharing.
