People-positive energy transition
GEAPP aims to provide dependable, green power to reduce carbon emissions and to enhance the livelihoods of millions of marginalised individuals across various geographies in India by 2030.
The strategy aims to deliver high impact with low investments – reduction of 2b tons GHG, 100m reliable access and 50m green jobs by 2030. This will be accomplished through strategic investments in cutting-edge, tailored technical and policy measures aimed at expediting an all-encompassing energy shift by adopting an enabling ecosystem approach. The interventions are aligned closely with priorities of the Government of India.
