Satya Choubey is leading demand generation, livelihood enhancement and micro enterprise development in GEAPP based in New Delhi, India. He is working closely with Govt. nodal agencies, ESCO partners, DISCOM and livelihood organization for promoting renewable energy and green jobs in India. He developed the “Demand Generation Handbook,” a publication that captures a replicable framework for creating electricity demand in mini-grid villages.

Satya is a seasoned community engagement and program implementation expert and has been associated with organizations such as Population Services International, CARE, and Institute of Financial Management & Research (IFMR). He has managed large-scale sanitation programs and curated financing mechanisms for rural entrepreneurs in association with leading microfinance institutions in India. Satya has a Bachelor’s degree in agriculture and a postgraduate degree in rural management.
