Lubna Bhayani
Director, Partnerships, Africa

With a career spanning more than 15 years and several countries across Africa and Asia, Lubna’s focus has been on universal access to sexual and reproductive health and rights, especially for those who are most structurally marginalized due to their age, sex, sexual identity, and gender orientation. She is multi-lingual and speaks English, French, Italian together with her native Gujarati and Urdu, and some Afghan Dari and Kiswahili. Lubna has an undergraduate degree from McGill University in Canada, and master’s degrees from both the London School of Economics and the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine in the UK. She moved to Nairobi in 2021 with her husband and two boys and is very excited to join GEAPP to champion access to renewable, green energy and in particular work on the intersectionality of women’s empowerment and climate justice.Â
