Chianda Njogu

Manager, Demand, Jobs, and Livelihoods

Chianda is a Senior Associate in the Demand, Jobs, and Livelihoods team. His work focuses on stimulating the productive use of renewable energy in underserved communities to create jobs and improve livelihoods. Before joining GEAPP, Chianda served as an associate in the Food Initiative at the Rockefeller Foundation, working closely with the Power & Climate Initiative to develop initial iterations of the demand strategy.

Previously, Chianda worked as a management consultant, most recently within One Acre Fund‚ an internal consulting team supporting several country programs and at Open Capital Advisors advising impact investors, development partners, and social enterprises. His work spans multiple sectors, including financial services, agriculture, manufacturing, and renewable energy, focusing on impacting underserved communities across SSA. Chianda is from Nairobi and holds an MSc in Business Analytics from Loughborough University, UK and a BSc in Business Information Technology from Strathmore University, Kenya.
