Damola is the Director of Utility Innovation at the Global Energy Alliance for People & Planet (GEAPP), where he focuses on developing and executing an ambitious utility innovation strategy powered by renewables. Prior to joining GEAPP, he was the Head of Energy Strategy at Dangote Industries Ltd, leading the power, energy, and infrastructure strategy for the Group.

Damola previously worked as a consultant at McKinsey & Co, where he focused on strategy development and implementation across several industries in Sub-Saharan Africa. He has also worked as a consultant to various power and utility companies in Africa and North America.

Damola holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from The University of South Florida and MSc and BSc degrees in Electrical Engineering from Florida State University.
