Deepak leads GEAPP’s mini-grid program in India. He has extensive experience in advisory in the climate change, sustainability, and renewable energy sectors. Previously, he worked with Emergent Ventures India and Emergent Ventures International on sustainable development projects in emerging economies and regions susceptible to climate change. Deepak has delivered projects in south and southeast Asia, Africa, and Pacific Islands.

Deepak has also worked with non-profits on various development and governance issues, including micro-finance, livelihoods, natural resource management, and community empowerment. He holds a Master’s degree from Duke University and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Forest Management.
