Dennis Waweru Nderitu is the Manager for Energy Systems at GEAPP. Nderitu provides technical support, input, and advisory across GEAPP’s partnerships and projects.

Before joining GEAPP, Nderitu was the Technical Lead at Energy 4 Impact, providing transaction advisory support to over 125 off-grid developers and companies across Africa in solar, hydro, and biomass-based technologies. Prior to this role, he managed Commercial & Industrial solar projects at Davis & Shirtliff (D&S), providing sales training and installation support to 7 countries in Africa. Before that, he led the installation and management of 20 minigrid and grid-connected solar projects in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, and Rwanda at PowerGen Renewable Energy.

Nderitu graduated with an electrical and electronics engineering degree from the Technical University of Kenya and has taken courses in environmental impact assessment (ESIA) and global energy and climate policy at Catholic University for Eastern Africa and SOAS London, respectively.
