Francesco Starace is currently serving as Partner of EQT Group, a purpose-driven global investment organization, joining earlier this year. He is also the Chairman of the Board at Sustainable Energy for All (SEforALL), a role he has held since 2020. Prior to this, Starace was the CEO and General Manager of Enel SpA, a role he held for over nine years. He joined the Enel Group in 2000 and held various positions within the organization, including Head of Energy Management at Enel Produzione and CEO and General Man-ager of Enel Green Power.

In addition to SEforALL, Starace is also currenlty affiliated with several other oganisations, these include the European Commision (Member of the “Multi-stakeholder Platform on the Implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals in the EU), B20 Climate & Resource Efficiency Task Force (Co-Chair), World Economic Fo-rum (Co-Chairman Energy Utilities and Energy Technologies Community), United Nations – Global Compact (Board Member), Politecnico di Milano (Advisory Board Member), among others.

Starace studied Nuclear Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Milan.
