Executive Assistant
Nivea Ikutwa is our Executive Assistant supporting the Demands, Jobs, and Livelihood (DJL) and Country Delivery teams.
She has over 9 years of in-depth experience in executive operations and providing high-level support to senior executives, overseeing complex client engagements, contract/grant management, events management, programme reporting, project budgeting, partnership management, and general logistics coordination. Over time she has acquired project planning and management skills, research, monitoring and evaluation and has experience coordinating with teams across multiple offices.
Nivea joins us from The Rockefeller Foundation, where she held a similar position. She has also worked with a number of International NGOs/Companies, including the International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI), Oxford Policy Management Limited (OMPL), Catholic Agency for Overseas Development (CAFOD)-Regional Office and the International Centre for Research on Women (ICRW)- East Africa.
She holds a Masters’ degree in project planning and management and a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Communication both earned from the University of Nairobi.
Nivea is passionate about development work and impacting the most vulnerable communities positively.
