Pariphan leads the development and implementation of The Global Energy Alliance and People and Planet’s strategy in Asia including Bangladesh, Indonesia, Myanmar, and Vietnam. Pariphan’s current portfolio focuses on building delivery capacity and improving market conditions for energy access and energy transition as well as identifying opportunities for mobilizing climate finance and risk capital to unlock private sector investments.

Prior to joining GEAPP, he served as the Director of The Rockefeller Foundation’s Power and Climate initiative in Asia. In India, he worked closely with power companies, investors, and partners to deploy over 600 solar mini grids leveraging more than $80 mm of investments and impacting over 300,000 people. In Myanmar, he led the establishment of a $11 mm technical assistant facility dedicated to supporting the acceleration of last-mile electrification. Prior to joining the Foundation, Pariphan led a number of regional and national advocacy and governance initiatives for Oxfam and Save the Children in Asia.

Pariphan holds two master’s degrees from Ball State University, Indiana and a bachelor’s degree from University of Melbourne.
