Ying works across GEAPP’s Global and Asia teams to support strategy development and programme management.

He joined from the UK Energy Ministry where he developed policy for Industrial Decarbonisation, and led a team to support design of the UK’s first Carbon Capture and Storage networks in two industrial clusters. He has also worked in an AI-Climate start-up and as a management consultant supporting clients across the industry, transportation and financial sectors.

He holds Masters in Environmental Technology from Imperial College London and in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cambridge.
